Best Performance

Tunisia’s 1-0 aggregate win over Mali in the 3rd stage of qualifying in Africa was enough to see them qualify for their second consecutive World Cup and their sixth in history. Last time around, they found themselves in a group with Belgium and England, though they did manage to beat Panama in their final group game to record only their second ever win in the history of the competition, and their first since 1978. Tunisia were disappointed at being knocked out of the African Cup of Nations earlier this year at the hands of Burkina Faso at the Quarter Final stage, but will have been pleased during their Kirin Cup performance where they defeated Chile and Japan to lift the trophy

Player to Watch

31 year old strike Wahbi Khazri has played mostly for French sides, such as Bastia, Bordeaux and Saint Etienne, though he did have a stint in the Premier League when playing for Sunderland for a few years. He scored 10 goals for Saint Etienne last season before moving to Montpellier, and was also top scorer for Tunisia during qualifying. His experience will be instrumental if Tunisia are to make it out of the group.
